Finishing Paranormal Activity

Im so pumped for the third paranormal. Hopefully this one brings as much entertainment as the first and second one did. Maybe i'll see you guys at the theater on thursday night for the first showing!

After seeing the first one I had to watch this one just out of respect of the first. Now most of the time sequels suck, but when i viewed this sequel I realized that there was an intricate story here! this one was just as good as the first in my opinion maybe even better.

Paranormal Activity

I think everybody has seen this movie and if you haven't... watch it. not alone though. I personally never got into scary movies mostly because of how cliche they all are. Plus most of them are just stupid. But when I saw the trailer for this I had a feeling this wan't an average scary movie, and I was right. I was entertained from beginning to end.

Source Code

Now this movie was directed by the same guy who did Moon. This film (like moon) is intelligent and suspenseful with plenty of twists to go with it. this is a rare gem in my opinion because most films with this level of intelligence are usually not hollywood movies but independent. Which basically means it's entertaining and well done I recommend watching it ASAP. By the way the ending twists will blow your mind...

Primer

This film was made with a budget of seven grand. it doesn't look at all like a seven grand movie though. the director/actor/writer of this film (shane Carruth) is already signed to do a big hollywood movie off just this one film. it is extremely intelligent and confusing as F%*#. If you think you can understand movies better than others then I dare you to watch this movie...

Fight Club

Alright, I put this next one up because it's my favorite movie of all time. If you're a guy and you haven't seen this movie then you can't know then meaning of being a man. This film is a highly philosophical movie. it's true underlying messages will take multiple viewings. This movie is truly of cultural importance, if you haven't seen this then you need to watch it immediately.

Swingers

This film is a classic and also started Vince Vaughn and John Faverus carriers. The main reason I enjoyed this film is because the super realistic depiction of a group of guys trying to get "laid". Also if you're a movie buff like me then you'll notice all of the cult movie references in the film. This movie is currently on Netflix live stream and I strongly recommend watching it this weekend.

Memento

This is another personal favorite. If you enjoyed Inception then you'll love this. Memento is done by Christopher Noaln who directed Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and of course Inception. This film is generally not well known which is a shame because it is a brilliant movie. It's about a man who suffers from short term memory loss who is trying to find his wifes murderer. By the way this movie progresses in reverse. Sound weird I know. But i guarantee you'll never guess the ending...
